My Big Girl

Tonight is my girl's first night in her big girl bed. It took her a little while to go to sleep and I kept threating to put her back into the crib, but she finally fell asleep. I snuck into her room to find her asleep amongst some of her favorite toys.


This week we are making big changes. Morgan is moving to boy's room and the boy's are moving to Morgan's room. Morgan has big animals painted on her walls (painted by an artist before we moved in) and it is more suited for boys. So, I am going to paint over the trains and cars in the other room and make my girl a pink room. She is so excited to have her own big girl bed and a pink room. I am excited to clean out the clutter and put some fresh paint on the walls. I will share pictures when we are all finished.

Happy Easter

I love Easter not only because we celebrate the life of our Savior, but because the snow is almost all melted and the grass is turning green and pastels are fun to wear again.

On Friday the kids and I colored easter eggs. We had a lot of fun. I got a kit that had 12 colors including some neon colors. We colored them first with crayons and the we dipped and finally we decorated using stickers and some shrink wrap stuff that we applied with a hair dryer.

Turning One

This weekend I got to take pictures of this little guy. He is such a cutie! He turns "one" next week. I had a lot of fun playing with his pictures. I love taking pictures of little ones! I am so eager for spring and outside pictures with flowers, grass, and NO SNOW!

I am planning on doing outdoor Portrait Parties this Spring and Summer. If anyone is interested in hosting a party and earning free pictures let me know.
